POSITION: Data Analyst
JOB LOCATION: Gaithersburg, MD and other unanticipated sites throughout US
DESCRIPTION: Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business
reports. Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business
processes. Work with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify
process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data
governance strategies. Implement various development, testing, automation and
predictive advanced data analytical tools. Define and set development, test, release,
update, and support processes for Robotic Process automation (RPA) solutions.
Troubleshoot techniques and fix the automation code bugs. Integrate code, build, and test
functions to smoothly function the multiple iterations of the RPA build cycle
management. Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible across
Business divisions. Identify and deploy information security, and data confidentiality
measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
Process and program control management and root cause analysis. Support multi
automation platforms including Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UI Path, and
advanced analytical tools development using R Language and Python. Drive Lean Six
Sigma Projects across functions delivering tangible and non-tangible benefits impacting
bottom and top line margin of assigned client projects. Use statistical tools to identify,
analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets. Assign numerical value
to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and
compared over periods of time. Analyze local, national, and global trends that impact
both the organization and the industry. Prepare reports for management stating trends,
patterns, and predictions using relevant data, and final analysis reports for stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in any field. 2 years experience in job offered or
2 years experience as Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, IT Services Manager
or related occupation.
HOURS: 9 AM to 5 PM, 40 hours/week
SALARY: $126,000/year
